I think it’s unimaginable that there are not other living things somewhere out there in the Universe. I would be surprised if they looked anything like the ones shown in movies, but you never know!

I think that there must be some other forms of life somewhere in the Universe, but like Nina I don’t believe that they would look like the aliens we see in films

In the infinite vastness of space I find it hard to believe that there’s not some other kind of life out there.
The fact that we’re yet to find each other perhaps demonstrates how amazingly lucky we are to be alive and that life doesn’t happen on every planet!

Yes – I feel that it’s not implausible that there is no other planet in the Universe that has got life. It may not be life as we know it or similar to us but I imagine (and hope!) there is life other than us. Otherwise it’d be a waste of such a huge amount of space!

Yes I think its likely that there is other life on other planets. We just have discovered it yet.

I think it is likely (given how huge the universe is) that there is probably life somewhere else in the universe – I think we have just not been able to find each other as yet!

I refuse to accept that there isn’t at least one other life form out there. The universe is so impossibly big that there must be something!

Absolutely, but they could be just tiny bacteria or something out of a star wars movie. Who knows??

      Soooo…..

Just in our galaxy (the milky way) there are ~300 BILLION stars…..
People assume that the average star has 1 planet…. so thats 300 BILLION planets….. just in our solar system…

Scientist at NASA estimate there are around 100 BILLION galaxies in the universe… so there’s a lot of planets that life could have evolved on….

The main point is the universe is massive and we don’t know what is our there.

More exciting than that… every living thing ever known to us, every living organisms ever seen by a human, existed on earth. Which is an incredibly beautiful thought.

I believe that somewhere out there, there must be another planet capable of supporting life in one form or another. Thus there must be alien life out there. How complex this is, is an entirely different matter. Due to conditions, it may be more or less complex. Also with the vast distances between planets and the ever changing stars and solar systems, perhaps life just hasn’t existed in multiple places at the same time period….yet?

In an infinite universe, they must exist, so yes!
