I don’t think so but the optimist in me would like to think that there was something after death.

I don’t, but many scientists do manage to combine science and religion.

I like to think that certain departed relatives are in heaven, purely because it’s a comforting thought for me. But I don’t truly believe in heaven and hell.

No, I believe that death is nothing to be afraid of and that whatever happens to us when we die we won’t be aware of it. I can’t remember before I was born, so by that logic I wouldn’t remember any afterlife.

I don’t as such… but I do remember my physics lessons: energy cannot be destroyed. Thus this gives me some kind of solace that my ‘energy’ will still be something after death.

I’m an agnostic – so I’m prepared to listen to the evidence of their existence, but I don’t believe such evidence exists. My strongest belief is that anything is possible though, so am quite happy to be proven wrong about this one! If I could determine my own ‘afterlife’ I would definitely come back as a cat.

I am not sure that I believe in a separate place or location called heaven or hell. I think we can make our life here on earth a kind of heaven though.

In a way I do because of my Buddhist background, however, I believe in creating a change for good now in this lifetime because our minds are not advanced enough to comprehend the many possibilities of the lifetimes ahead of us and before us. So, eitherway, to have the best chance of ending up in a good destination, you still have to do good right now…its a good philosophy to live by no matter what belief system you have I suppose!
