I had a cat for 18 years.. I don’t have a pet now, as I travel a lot and wouldn’t feel right leaving a pet at home, when I work overseas – but once I settle down a bit, I would love to have a border collie puppy!

I’ve had pets pretty much all my life but I don’t have a pet at the moment, which is SO difficult for me! My parents used to have chinchillas and cats when I was born, then we had fish, then we had two Weimaraner dogs and then my mum and I had a beautiful English Pointer dog. I haven’t had any pet since coming to Bristol for University so the minute I get my own house, I will be getting a pet!

No. πŸ™ I really wish that I did though. Hopefully I will be moving somewhere new soon and my number one priority is that I can have pets!

Not right now and I miss them so much! I grew up with two cats who lived to 21 and 23 years old and life is not the same without them. During my studies I have moved around a lot and have mostly lived in rented accommodation where pets aren’t allowed so I’ve had to go without pets for a while. Although I love dogs, I know that the hours I work would make it difficult to give enough time to a dog, so once I have a place of my own, I would like to get a cat that can come and go as it pleases!

Being without a pet makes me appreciate my job even more – I can get a good dose of furry cuddles when on clinics!

I’ve never had a pet πŸ™ My dad always said he was allergic.. I would really like some rabbits in the future though πŸ™‚

I had hamsters growing up but sadly I live in rented accommodation and I’m not allowed to have any pets. My sister has a puppy though and I love visiting him – nothing beats puppy cuddles when you’ve had a stressful day!

Yes! We have a black cat – they are considered luck in Scotland. She is a rescue cat called Cleo – I’m guessing she was named after Cleopatra as she definitely thinks she’s queen in our house.
Poor thing hates the rain which isn’t great considering our local weather so she spends most evening curled up on my lap. 😺

Not of my own. I like to travel too much, both for work and for holiday, so I’d be a rubbish pet parent. My parents have two labradors, Barney and Max, so I like to pretend they are mine when I visit!

I unfortunately have never had a pet, probably because we moved so much when I was younger, however, I have always liked the idea of having a dog although I wouldn’t know how to raise one…I assume they are like toddlers?!

I have two children, both under 10 so for pets we have two goldfish whilst they learn about looking after them, but I really want to get a dog!

Not right now but maybe our kids would like one in the future. Something small or that will live in the garden? Rabbits, guinea pigs, tortoise, hamster, chickens???

I don’t at the moment but would love a dog! We have some pet fish in the lab that I love watching. My mother in law has two dogs and so I visit there often to play with them!

One morning last week I discovered two fox cubs playing in our back garden – obviously these aren’t my pets but it was so cool to watch them!
