I love raspberries! I don’t like how the seeds get stuck in your teeth – I have a brace at the back of my teeth too so they get stuck quite a lot!

Of course! They taste nice and are good for you. It’s also a very interesting word!
Olivia Colman (who won the best actress Oscar) ‘blew a raspberry’ when the timekeepers said she was taking to long for her speech. I once was curious as to why we say it’s called blowing a raspberry and apparently it’s because of Cockney rhyming slang where you use a rhyming word/phrase to mean another word. So ‘apples and pears’ = stairs, ‘dog and bone’ = phone. Raspberry is short for ‘raspberry tart’ = fart.

Yes! (and I just realised there is no raspberry emoji). I like the more sour fruits, like raspberry, gooseberry and rhubarb.

Yes! When I lived with my parents we grew them in the garden and I used to snack on them after school straight from the plant.

I do, especially with yoghurt and other fruit with a crushed meringue nest… is an amazing and easy to make pudding!

Marianne King answered on 11 Jun 2019:
I love raspberries! I just find berry fruits quite expensive. Especially because I’ll buy a punnet to last the week and then eat them all within the hour. One time though I went into my local supermarket and managed to get reduced raspberries, reduced blueberries AND reduced blackberries, all for less than £1! It was one of the best days of my life.

I love raspberries! I really enjoy going to ‘pick your own’ farms too so that we can pick the best ripe ones.

I love them! My neighbours grow them in their garden and this year a plant has sprung up on our side of the fence – I can’t wait to eat some home-grown raspberries!
