He’s a cheetah – and no, he was very sweet and did not eat me! This was a captive (and fairly tame) cheetah – he was captive (with a whole farm to roam on in South Africa!) because he had a visual problem which meant he could not hunt well, and therefore would to have survived in the wild.
On the same trip though I was attacked by a 6-month-old lion; that hurt A LOT. I still have the scars.
Wow, Nina, tell us more about the lion injuries? Do you still have all 4 limbs, 10 fingers and 10 toes!
Working with children doesnt have quite the same health hazards, although I’ve been kicked and whacked a few times by small children too little to understand we are trying to make them better.
