I definitely wanted to be a zoo keeper or someone who works with animal conservation – especially elephants and snow leopards – I love them!

I wanted to work in wildlife conservation (as I love the natural world and watching animals and how they behave) and before that to be a pilot (as I had to take flights a lot to see my dad who lived in another country and kept on seeing pilots who just seemed the coolest people).

I went through phases of wanting to fly jet planes and space shuttles, perform as an actress on stage (but not TV – I always hated cameras), a restaurateur, a barrister, and even…a politician….I think this was a lucky escape!

Paramedic, film-maker, running coach, physiotherapist, bike mechanic…

At first I wanted to be a hairdresser, and then a lawyer. I decided that I wanted to be a scientist when studying for my GCSEs 🙂

I wanted to be a musician. I loved music from primary school, so that was always my back up plan 😁

I think I wanted to do everything. Author, fashion designer, artist, plastic surgeon, nurse, psychiatrist… but a scientist was something that survived all these flights of fancy I had.
