I support Liverpool. They were the first team I ever watched play (because my grandad supported them)… it’s been a long road at times, but it’s nice to see them in the champions league finals again and even making a challenge for the premier league this season!

I’m not a football fan, but I have two small boys so I’m guessing I’ll have to understand football more in the future. Any tips to help me out?

Honestly, I don’t really support a team. I like watching football with my housemates and they each support Newcastle United, Liverpool and West Ham… So it’s quite exciting whenever each/both/all of their teams are playing!!

This is a bit of a controversial one in my family!

I was brought up a Manchester United fan in a family where absolutely everyone loves United. And I do too, but I’ve always loved women’s football more. And United didn’t have a women’s team until this year. So I support Manchester City women’s team – I even have season tickets!
This year I got to go to Wembley to see Man City women win the FA Cup for the second time, it was amazing!

This week the Women’s World Cup starts – a whole month of Women’s football, I’m so excited!

      I may be a bit football obsessed…

For a very short time as a teenager I was a Spurs fan, but genuinely don’t watch the game now.

I’m not a big football fan, so don’t have a team who I support as such. If I had to say one though, it would be my home town Leicester city! It was such an amazing atmosphere in the city when we won the premier league in 2016, and I felt very proud to be from Leicester.

I’m not a football fan to be honest, my sport is really triathlon. Both my parents are from London, with my mum’s side as Spurs fans and my Dad’s side as West Ham fans. Both my brothers support West Ham, so I guess that has become our family team now.

Colchester! Grew up there and we so nearly made the League Two playoffs this year…it’s good fun following the highs and lows!

I’m not really that interested in football.

I played rugby while I was at school and university and i really enjoy following my local club, Currie Chieftains. Despite living in Edinburgh I’m from Glasgow and was lucky enough to play for the age grade teams when I was younger so I’m a big Glasgow Warriors fan. Of course, it goes without saying that I support Scotland but that’s pretty tough as they can be so inconsistent. The rugby world cup is in a few months time so i’m excited to watch a lot of those games.

I do a lot of mountain biking and used to race Downhill Mountain bikes so I like to keep an eye on those races. The big World Cup races are streamed live which can be really exciting to see who’s going to win and really cool to see smaller sports on my TV.

I also enjoy running, especially in hills and mountains over long distances. Following a race on Twitter can be exciting as you can get lots of live updates from races all over the world, it can make you feel like your actually there.

Ha, that’s a question that can get you into trouble! ;-). My partner is a Preston North End (PNE) fan and sometimes sings their game chants when walking around the house doing odd jobs, which always makes me smile (especially because I’m not convinced he knows he does it!). I guess I’m a supporter by association!
