I love the outdoors and the natural world and it makes me sad when I have been lucky enough to travel to see how air pollution affects this badly. I also see a lot of patients with infections/inflammation of the ear, nose and throat and this gets a lot worse due to being in areas of bad air pollution. I think we are at a really key time when we can make changes to help make things better. I want to study this to try figure out how exactly we can do this and better ways to treat diseases from pollution.
