It’s tasty and versatile and a great snack to have in the lab.
Things I have had with bread in the lab include:
butter, marmite, peanut/almond butter, Nutella, Reese’s peanut butter and chocolate spread, Chile relish, various cheeses (including toasties that my friend Rob managed to make in the lab toaster with a strange bag device) and poached egg (I managed to poach in the microwave, although one egg did explode as I left it in too long).
Bread is awesome! It goes with absolutely everything, you can get so many types of bread (my favourite is rye bread), it’s easy to make a snack with it… Tomato with serrano ham is my favourite topping, although I also really like homemade marmalade, peanut butter and tapenade (olive spread). You can also use bread to make a quick small pizza at home. I love baking bread too, it’s really relaxing to knead it and it makes my house smell amazing!
