• Question: Do you believe that as a world we can stop malaria?

      Good question – I think it is possible to stop malaria (as it has been shown in lots of countries such as Australia and Cuba) but it takes lots of money and continued effort, which can be hard to maintain. Unfortunately when one country gets rid of malaria it is possible that infected people will come from a different place and re-introduce it into a country. Therefore we need a world wide response as you suggest.

      Currently there are lots of global programmes such as the world health organisation global malaria programme and global technical strategy that work with governments and aid organisations to put policy in place to help.
