• Question: what science do I need to take accounting

      To do Accounting at Edinburgh University (I assume other Unis are much the the same) you don’t need any specific Highers or A-Levels other than Maths and English.
      If you want to do a science then pick the one that interests you the most and you enjoy, it’s always good to have a broad range of interests in life!

      You would certainly need good Maths and English skills; here is some more information on routes into Accountancy:

      If you think you might be interested in being a Management Accountant for biotechnology companies it might help to have some understanding of biology/chemistry/physics – but choose what you are most interested in.

      I think as the others have highlighted, English and maths would be key skills. but in terms of problem solving and maths, I think physics if any would be a good fit in terms of accountancy.
