I was a book worm, I loved reading. And I had several pen friends that I love writing letters to! I bet that sort of thing doesnt exist anymore as we now just use email and instant messaging!
I always loved exploring, even if it was only in the back garden! As I got older, I went a bit further afield on expeditions – all the way to Bolivia and Australia. Some of my happiest memories of childhood were when my brother and I went exploring on holiday – sometimes on foot, sometimes on bikes, sometimes with snorkels and flippers! There’s so much to see out there (and you don’t have to go far to start exploring the natural world – it’s right there in front of you).
I really loved to paint and make pictures/art! I used to save every single cardboard box/buttons/toilet rolls and junk I could find, and make lots of really useful(!) things for the home! My mum has still kept some of my creations which is very sweet!
I was always outside in the countryside of France, playing with my dog. I was exploring old abandon houses. I was as well helping at the farm with the different animals I loved it so much and clearly miss that connection. On rainy days I just like to read especially Harry Potter’s books.
I loved reading and exploring on my bike. Me and my best friend were always getting into scrapes trying to do stupid things. Like jumping a fairly sizeable stream on our bikes using a very flimsy ramp! We also made a go-kart (we called it Wilbur for some reason, I can’t remember why!) from the wheels of a pram and some MDF. We used to race it down a really steep hill near where we lived, which was super dangerous looking back because it was on a road! How we didn’t end up more injured than the few broken bones were both got over the years, I’ll never know!
