I’m going to put my hands up and admit to not even having a clue what this question is about. Its obviously too clever for me. Sorry.

Sorry, not a physicist! I can’t give you any better answer than you could get by googling it – sorry!

I genuinely don’t know what the question means…. you’re too clever for me!

      Apparently yes….check out this video:

This Particle Breaks Time Symmetry from Physics

Not my area at all, but made me think a lot about our sleep pattern and how a night’s sleep from start to finish is not ‘symmetrical’ in terms of sleep stage quantities – that’s why if you get up much earlier than normal you will deprive your brain more of REM sleep (the ‘dream’ part) than non-REM sleep, whereas it’s other way round for going to bed much later than normal. In other words, there is a clear ‘direction’ to your night of sleep, and apparently our brains can also keep a sense of time subconsciously, which is why (for really important things) you sometimes wake up just a minute or two before the alarm you set goes off….I doubt if sleep can be really be used as evidence of failure of CPT symmetry but like the second law of thermodynamics, trying to ‘unscramble’ your dreams seems just as impossible as trying to unscramble an egg to me.

Time reversal is a symmetry that is already broken by our universe too!

a violation of CP also implies a violation of the T symmetry itself.

But remember, CP have only been disproved in ‘weak interactions’, which when over a larger scale cancel each other out.

the combination of CPT reversal symmetry still stands experimentally. But individually or just C and P do not.
